Juneau has a well-deserved reputation for being rainy. But when the days are clear, the views of mountains and ocean are brilliant.
Juneau's maritime location protects the city from large temperature swings. The daily summer weather report often shows high and low readings only 15 degrees apart.
August and September are the rainiest months during the cruise season, but rain can be expected any warm month.
